How does Okrabook handle VAT and ZATCA e-invoicing?
Each revenue stream — academy fees, packs, rentals, point of sale and custom invoices — maps to its own account, and so does each payment method. Every one carries its own VAT rate, tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive amounts, a default emirate and a decimal-places setting, so the invoice a family receives is correct without anyone adjusting it by hand.
A full revenue ledger sits behind every payment, so the figure on the invoice, the figure in the report and the figure in the bank are describing the same transaction. For Saudi Arabia, Okrabook supports ZATCA e-invoicing.
Which payment gateways work in the Gulf?
Okrabook has 21 payment gateways built in. The regional ones include Telr, CCAvenue, HyperPay, Paymob, AmwalPay, Payfort / Amazon Payment Services, SkipCash in Qatar, and UPayment and Hesabe in Kuwait, alongside international options such as Stripe and PayPal. Tamara and Tabby are supported for buy now, pay later.
Each academy switches on the gateways it needs and enters its own keys, so payments settle into its own account. Okrabook charges zero transaction fees on every plan: what you charge a family is what reaches you, whether you take ten payments a month or a thousand.
Is the whole system available in Arabic?
Yes, and not only the parent side. The entire Okrabook portal — staff and parent — is available in Arabic with a fully right-to-left layout, not an English screen with Arabic words in it.
It also runs in English, French, German, Thai and Simplified Chinese. Each person chooses their own language, so an Arabic-speaking parent and an English-speaking coach use the same academy in the language each of them reads. All 6 languages are included on every plan.
